For the wings, look for players who can defend multiple positions and knock down open shots. At center, prioritize rebounding, interior defense, and enough mobility to survive against smaller lineups.

Your early lineup should ideally have:

• A point guard who can create and pass
• At least two reliable perimeter shooters
• A versatile wing defender
• A center who can rebound and protect the rim
